How To : Learn How To Drift

by Cristian Truers Step 1 Set a plastic trash can up in the center of an empty parking lot. You want enough room to approach, circle the can in a drift and then pull out of the turn. Make sure there won’t be any random shoppers appearing and wanting to leave their cars there. Step 2 Drive towards the rubbish can and keeping to the right, make a 180-degree turn around the can, drive away from the can in the same instruction that you drove towards it. Note in your mind the point at which this is at. Step 3 As soon as you feel the weight of the car begin to shift into the turn, engage the parking brake (literally yank it up and on as fast as you can) and apply slight pressure to the gas pedal, just enough to maintain your speed. Drive toward the can again, maintaining a speed of 20 to 25 mph and begin to make the same turn. Hold your steering wheel steady as you begin to drift into and around the can. … Continue reading

Use OEM or AFTERMARKET Parts

After you have gotten involved in an accident and after all the hassle and additional cost that come along with the accident, it is understandable why you would simply accept the aftermarket parts for the parts that must be replaced in your vehicle. Besides they say that the difference between original equipment manufacturer or OEM and aftermarket replacement parts is hardly noticeable and very negligible. But what difference does it really make in your car? According to most insurance companies, there is not much difference between the OEM parts and aftermarket parts. In fact, most insurance companies recommend use of aftermarket parts, since they are less expensive than the OEM parts. This is also the reason why most insurance company will not reimburse you the total cost of replacement parts if you decide to use the OEM parts. There is alot of cut throat competition when it comes to motorcycle products, thats why you need to examine and actually put effort into finding the one part that you are looking to purchase. If you are coming across crappy parts, dont be afraid to search through the OEM prices, you can still find good deals from all the companies out there that are selling at just a little above dealer costs. What Are OEM Automotive Parts

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer So Basically these are the original parts that your vehicle came off the automotive assembly line with. OEM parts can be found at authorized distributors and dealership for which ever brand of vehicle you are referring to. These parts are typically going to be more expensive then aftermarket parts which is why dealers will tend to lead you to believe that these OEM parts are of a better quality. Which maybe the case in some instances . . . but it never hurts to see what the competition is. Because even though they are ” OEM ” they may not be made by the original manufacturer. MANY manufacturers have parts produced by outside independent companies. Then they will install by machine or place them in boxes so they can be sold as ” OEM ” parts.
