What The 2010 Mustang Has To Offer

The 2010 Mustang while incorporating many of the basic mechanical components of its predecessor, with the addition of higher-spec components on the base models, the sum of all the parts equals a sporty car refined and cost efficient, while still visually attractive and fast, especially around corners.

With a totally redesigned body, a hood bulge coming stock on all models, and relocated equipment such as the antenna and exhaust system. The overall road noise is reduced, and the engine sounds from the cockpit are greatly improved.

The interior sports shiny new instrumentation, accented with Ford’s own aluminum trim. LED lighting and soft touch plastics not to mention more noise suppression make for a pleasant driving environment.

Even with the use of the live rear axle, it took severe provocation for the Mustang’s rear end to get out of control. The front undercover, which comes standard, greatly helped reduce the lift, by as much as twenty three percent. The same engines were carried over with some extra accessories to increase horsepower and torque.

The suspensions on the new mustangs are inherited from one model up the range in previous mustangs. This means the base mustang in 2010 will have the same suspension system as the previous mustangs that were one level above base.

The standard equipment while being fantastic, only tells half the story. The optional equipment on the other hand is something to get excited about. From base model to race ready, all the equipment you need is available at your Ford dealer.

For those performance minded enthusiasts, check out the track pack. With the carbon plate 3. 73 diff and the stiffer suspension of the GT500, enhanced by the attention grabbing nineteen inch wheels sporting performance summer tires. These are just some of the improvements attainable by ordering the track pack.

Repositioned exhaust results in much better engine sound inside. The sport mode for the stability control convert the bumpy corners, which were the Achilles heel of the predecessors, into the strong point of the new redesigned 2010 mustang. The sport mode allows traction to be turned off, and reactivated after allowing between seven and nine degrees of slide. Why not slide on into your local Ford dealer and check out the amazingly rejuvenated 2010 mustang for yourself. Click onto the ford website and build your own mustang.
