Why Not Drive A 2004 Buick Rendezvous ?

Up till today there is definitely a lot of things that you would have heard about the driving experience in the 2004 Buick Rendezvous. But, the actual question is whether it is actually worth its price tag. Every car always has disadvantages irrespective of how cheap or expensive it is.

If you are one of the people that are wanting to buy the 2004 Buick Rendezvous then you should have a look below at what some owners of the car have to say about the disadvantages.

Owner 1 – The transmission started to slip after I completed 32,000 miles. Till then it was a good driving experience. When I reached the 34,000 mile mark, weird noises started to come that sounded like groans from the differential. This sound came each time I used to take slow turns. The computer died out when I reached 40,000 miles. The car refused to start after that and my only choice was to tow the car and get the computer replaced. Being a Buick, the maintenance is obviously very expensive and something as simple as fluid flush for the differential costs $185.

Owner 2- I personally feel that the side mirrors are too big for the car and this reduces your vision of cars that are turning towards you or of people that are walking on the sidewalk. The brakes have also been very inconvenient at certain times.

Owner 3- There are 3 complaints that I have about my 2004 Buick Rendezvous. These are the back hatch, the lights and the cargo area. I am quite happy with the automatic feature that the lights have but there are sometimes at which I want to drive without the lights and it is at these times that I wish that there was an “off” option apart from the “on” and “auto” options. There are also quite loud squeaks that come from the hatch at the back. This noise is quite clearly audible when the radio is turned off, especially if you are driving over bumpy roads. And lastly, I always find myself folding down my rear seat to increase the cargo space and the bad part about this is that they never seem to fold flat.

Owner 4- For me the biggest problem I face is the huge side mirrors. The 2004 Rendezvous has the biggest side mirrors that I have seen, ever. Apart from this complaint, I have to say that backing up in this car can be especially difficult if you are a short driver. I have to use the side mirrors while reversing instead of the rear view mirror.

All cars have their own advantages and disadvantages. If you are planning to buy the 2004 Buick Rendezvous then you should first conduct a quick survey that is thorough as well about the automobile. There are a wide range of reviews about the car available online. Weigh the positives against the negatives fairly. This will help you make the important decision whether the 2004 Buick Rendezvous will be able to fit comfortably into your lifestyle.
